Overview
Handrail fittings are the shaped connector pieces that let a Colonial handrail turn, curl, or change pitch instead of running as one straight bar: a volute curls the rail into a spiral at the base of a staircase, a turnout carries the rail around a corner, and an easing softens the transition where a rake angle levels out onto a landing. These are milled in solid red oak to match our 6010 Colonial handrail profile and ship unfinished for on-site stain.
