A retro tread cap is a thin overlay tread that fits over an existing worn step, refreshing a staircase's wood surface without tearing the old treads out. This one is milled from solid red oak with a bullnose front edge, the same profile as a standard tread, and it ships unfinished so it can be stained to match your other stair or floor work. Because every existing stair is a little different, it's sized to your staircase — call for current options.
